As part of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival this event was all about food. When Marriner Group approached us the brief was simple, they wanted us to create a food focussed aesthetic nothing overly floral. So I presented them a concept that would be based on a Feast. We wanted to create luxury centrepieces that would work well with the venue aesthetics but elevate the dining experience. Jewell tones - ruby and emerald were the colours of choice, fig branches, pomegranates, grapes, succulents and select cascading flowering foliages really brought the rich colour palette to life. As a feature a large basket suspended from the ceiling filled with a cascading fruit display complimented the tablescapes.
