The brief was to create a fun filled wedding – a day about celebrating friendships and family. The couple wanted to make it a weekend of celebrations. The venue was selected as the perfect setting for a Country Style wedding.
A neutral colour palette of white and green with peony, hydrangea and baby's breath are Kahra's favourite flowers.
Whilst guests were enjoying pre dinner celebrations final touches were being made to the Dining Room. With a focus on fun we created a break out zone from the dining area for guest to relax, meet and greet throughout the evening. Magnolia trees and festoon lights adorned the country setting, lounges made from bales of hay with throw rugs were the talking point of the night.
The dining tables were set elegantly, shared platter menu had to be considered carefully when planning the décor. Luxurious layers of linen created elegance at the tables. Traditional place cards were replaced with polaroid like snaps of each guest resting on custom made birch card holders making it very personalised. Every guest considered in the planning.
The tables adorned with individual letter press menus, foliage flat laid across the length of each table with peony, hydrangea and baby's breath arranged in a collection of glass vessels.
Guests were treated to a cheese grazing table later in the evening, we worked with the head chef to supply props and embellish the table with flowers, foliage, logs, wooden antique crates and the Bride and Groom provided photo frames of their parents and grandparents weddings.
